Refund policy

  • All returns must be called in for return authorization. Only items authorized and approved for return can be returned. Items not authorized for return will be refused and no credit will be issued. Warranty items will be authorized and handled as per the manufacturer’s policy. Return authorizations will expire 30 days after date of issue.

 

  • Only items currently stocked and purchased from American Ladders & Scaffolds, Inc. within the prior 12 months will be considered for return. No returns will be allowed on special orders, non-stock items (CT warehouse) and used products. Product must be returned in sale-able condition. American Ladders and Scaffolds, Inc. Warehouse Returns Department has final approval on all returns. All items may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.  

 

  • No returns on special orders/non-stock items, electrical equipment, roofing hoists, generators, 14ft-20ft stepladders, 36ft-60ft extension ladders or seat covers. 15% re-stocking or handling charges apply to returns or exchanges.

     

    Returns

    Your satisfaction is the foundation of our relationship. Placing an order with our company or on our web site signifies that you agree to the following return conditions. While returns are rare, we require that you follow the procedures outlined below:

    Product Returns – NEW Saleable Condition

    1. Returns must still be in brand new (unused) condition and have all the packaging and original contents included to be in resalable condition.
    2. A request for an RMA (Return Material Authorization) must be made within thirty (30) days within receipt of the items. Please contact us to request an RMA,

    1. With your return request, please include your original invoice number and reason for the return.
    2. If you return an item, you will be charged the original shipping cost (if package was shipped under a free shipping promotion, actual shipping & handling charges will be applied). You are responsible for shipping charges on all returns. Shipping and handling will not be refunded unless we shipped an incorrect item, or an error was made on our part.
    3. Items returned in used, damaged condition or missing packaging may result in a reduced credit, or NO credit being issued.
    4. Any items returned without an RMA will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense.

    2. RMAs are only good for 14 days after issued
    3. If you return an item, you will be charged the original shipping cost (if package was shipped under a free shipping promotion, actual shipping & handling charges will be applied). You are responsible for shipping charges on all returns. Shipping and handling will not be refunded unless the item is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
    4. All replacement items or refunds will be authorized by the manufactures policies and are not controlled by American Ladders & Scaffolds Inc.

     

    Order Cancellations:

    Orders may be cancelled up to 7 days after the original order was placed.
